Wahab Alumni was officially formed on the year 2012 following the initiative taken by former students of SMK Datuk Haji Abdul Wahab and the current (2012) Senior Teacher For Students' Affair, Mr Moses Muniandy. The blog was created as means to inform the members of the activities held by the association as well as to increase exposure about the existence of the society to more former students.
